12th Anniversary Celebration of Benjamin Banneker Museum

Word from Chas, The event was fun and people did come, Chas saw other DC Surveyors and enjoyed his part in the historical event. Thanks to all who shared history with Andrew Ellicott and other colonials.  Pictures will follow once received.

These two links below of  Ellicott and L'enfant are important to the surveying profession and show some history in respect to Surveying in Washington D.C. and the neighboring States. I ask DCAL members to respond with request for knowledge base history web page for DCALS.org. This site is for members of DCALS and promotion of Surveying.

Your input is critical for District of Columbia Surveying.  E-mail me at athurber2003@yahoo.com
